Founded in Nagoya, Japan, Golpie Coffee is a third-generation specialty coffee roastery that combines deep heritage with modern craftsmanship. Originally established in 1945 as a coffee wholesaler, the company evolved under the leadership of award-winning roaster Yuya Kawai — Champion of the 2015 Japan Coffee Roasting Championship — into a brand focused on sourcing and roasting high-quality specialty coffees that highlight each origin’s unique character. Today, Golpie Coffee is known for its precise roasting, strong local community, and active presence in the global coffee scene, including serving as an international jury member for the Cup of Excellence.
