Fuglen Coffee Roasters has been dedicated to sharing the distinctive, pure flavours of coffee since its establishment in 2014, refining its approach to bring out each bean’s unique character. Known for their Nordic roasting style, originating from Oslo, they use a hot-air roasting machine by Rollingsmart to evenly heat each bean, ensuring a refined sweetness and a balanced, fruity profile free from burnt bitterness. With six cafés across Japan and a dedicated roastery, Fuglen prioritises traceability and sustainability through trusted partnerships with coffee producers worldwide, sourcing high-quality, single-origin beans. To preserve the beans' freshness, they’ve developed a specialised cold storage system, storing them in a controlled environment near Japan’s ports before moving them to their roastery, safeguarding the beans' flavour from start to finish.
