Founded in 2022, 40 Coffee & Bakery was born when founder Chih-Wei Wu, at the age of 40, made a bold shift from his design career to the world of coffee. The name reflects both his new beginning and the idea of gathering beauty and goodness to share with others. The café specialises in house-roasted coffee, carefully crafted to highlight the natural flavours and balance of the beans, using a Giesen W6A machine—an industry standard for consistent, high-quality roasting. In addition to coffee, they offer limited-edition gluten-free brown rice desserts, including options for plant-based diets. With a blend of design passion and coffee artistry, Chih-Wei has created a space that celebrates craftsmanship and community.
